How to Get Personalized Artwork Recommendations

Arttoo’s personalized recommendations help you discover artworks based on your interests and activity. The more you interact with Arttoo, the more tailored your recommendations become.

You can refine your recommendations—and manage the offers you receive from galleries—using the tools below.

1. Save Artworks

Click or tap the heart icon below an artwork to save it. Saved works act as a wishlist you can revisit anytime.

Saving artworks helps Arttoo understand your preferences, including:

  • Artists

  • Styles and mediums

  • Price ranges

Note: Galleries may reach out with limited-time offers on artworks you’ve saved.

2. Follow Artists

Click or tap “Follow” on artist or artwork pages. When you follow artists, you’ll receive updates about:

  • Newly available works by the artist

  • Exhibitions and auctions they’re in

These updates appear in:

  • The bell icon (notifications)

  • New Works for You

  • New Works by Artists You Follow

3. Create Alerts

Click “Create Alert” on an artwork page to receive notifications when similar works become available.

Alerts automatically include filters such as:

  • Artist

  • Medium

  • Classification (e.g., unique, limited edition)

You can further refine alerts by:

  • Price range

  • Rarity

  • Medium

  • Color

  • Additional keywords

You’ll be notified via email and/or push notification.

4. Add Works to My Collection

The My Collection feature lets you track artworks you own and follow market trends, and improves the accuracy of your recommendations on Arttoo. 

By adding works to your collection, you help Arttoo better understand:

  • Which artists you collect

  • Your collecting preferences

5. Manage Offers and Recommendations from Galleries

You can manage your saves, follows, and alert preferences at any time in your Account Settings. Based on your activity, you may receive:

  • Personalized offers

  • Availability updates

  • Recommendations for similar works

If you prefer not to share your saves with galleries (and not receive limited-time offers), you can turn this setting off via the below steps. 

On desktop:

  1. Log in to your Arttoo account

  2. Click your profile icon (top right)

  3. Click Offer Settings

  4. Toggle off to make your saves visible only to you

On the Arttoo app:

  1. Tap the Profile icon (bottom right)

  2. Tap Saves

  3. Tap Offer Settings

  4. Toggle off to make sure your saves are visibility only to you
