There are several reasons why an order
or offer may be canceled on Arttoo. If
your order was not confirmed, any hold
on your card is automatically released
and you will not be charged.
If you have questions, contact the
Arttoo Orders team at orders@arttoo.co or +1 (800) 718-4149 (Monday–Friday,
5am–5pm ET).
1. The Gallery Did Not Respond
Galleries have 72 hours
to respond to an offer. If no response
is received within that timeframe, the
offer expires and is automatically
canceled.
What you can do:
You can use the “Contact Gallery”
option on the artwork page to check
availability or continue the
conversation.
2. You Did Not Respond to a
Counteroffer
If a gallery sends a counteroffer, you
have 72 hours
to respond. If no action is taken, the
counteroffer expires and the order is
canceled.
What you can do:
You can submit a new offer or contact
the gallery directly to continue
negotiations.
3. Your Offer Was Not Accepted
If a gallery declines your offer, it
means the proposed price was below their
acceptable range.
What you can do:
You can submit a new offer at a higher
amount or contact the gallery directly
to continue negotiations.
4. Shipping Is Not Available to Your
Region
In some cases, a gallery may not be
able to ship to your location due to
logistical or regional
restrictions.
If shipping is not available, the order
is canceled and you are not
charged.
5. The Artwork Is No Longer
Available
In rare cases, a gallery may discover
that an artwork is no longer available
after an order is placed (for example,
due to an inventory error).
What happens next:
-
If your order was not confirmed, you will not be charged
-
If your order was confirmed and
charged, a refund will be
issued
In some cases, the gallery may offer
alternative works. If so, either the
gallery or Arttoo Support will contact
you with options.
